A very positive review of Lights Out

Dear DANIA NASCA,
Someone has replied to a comment you left on The Economist online. We attached their reply below.

"I downloaded and read this book, and was educated to the horrors that Castro unleashed on Cuba's people. Like many Americans who have never been to Cuba, I had assumed that Castro had made minimal improvements in health and education. It seems he degraded even these socialist priorities. I am a skeptical reader, but I found this book entirely convincing in portraying Castro as the devil incarnate."
Yours sincerely,

More reviews coming in........

Amazon reviews keep coming in.  I can tell readers of Lights Out are well-versed in history and every day life in oppressive regimes. It's a great compliment to this author who so very much wants the world to know what life was and is in Castro's Cuba.

The Importance of Amazon Book Reviews

The Importance of Amazon Book Reviews

Many people don’t understand how vital book reviews are to an author. A good review lifts the author’s spirits and restores confidence, as well as boosting his/her career.
Here’s how Amazon reviews help authors sell more books:
Readers often choose books based on recomendations. If you leave an Amazon review, it’s as if you’re telling your friends how much you enjoyed a book.
After 20 – 25 reviews (the exact number is a mystery), Amazon includes a book in ‘Also Bought’ and ‘You Might Like’ lists. This increases a book’s visibility on the site and helps boost sales.
After 50 – 70 reviews (again a mystery), Amazon highlights the book for spotlight positions and its newsletter. This is a huge boost for the author.
If you use Amazon, there’s nothing intimidating about the process. Here’s all you need to do”
• Log into your Amazon account.
• Find and select the book you want to review.
• Click on ‘Customer Reviews’ (under the title). This will take you to the review screen.
• At the top of this screen, simply click on ‘Write a Review’ and take it from there. You don’t need to be fancy. Two or three simple sentences will do the trick.
So if you loved a book, please take five minutes to post a review on Amazon. The author will be grateful.

Honored to be in such company..........
