As I write this, doctors are injecting starving patients with water and sugar while the government elites eat well and have their own medical compounds with doctors and medications from Europe. No, it is not the embargo. It is the system. It is communism. That’s the way it was in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and all communist countries. No Cuban president when she was a republic did this to its people, and that includes Batista even though he became president in a coup.
